The inspiration for this project came from listening to The Big Picture podcast from The Ringer. They announced a new ongoing series for the year, where they are picking the Top 25 Movies from the 21st Century. As it happened to be mid-March, when they began the series, I thought it would be interesting to have a March Madness-like contest, and allow listeners to try and predict the 25 films.

So I created a Google Form to collect entries, and shared it across social media, which gave me the foundation of a dataset. To add some insightful layers, I brought in film-specific data from IMdB. 
 
I built the scoring system: 1 point for correctly predicting a film and 3 additional points for predicting the film in the right slot.
